What is Metallic Plaster?

Metallic plaster layers pearlescent and metallic pigments into a lime or acrylic base, then works the surface with trowels and sponges to create a mottled, foil-like glow that shifts as you move through the room.

It is a statement finish and we recommend it sparingly: a stairwell column, a bar front, a powder room, a ceiling. Used well, a single metallic surface becomes the centerpiece of the home.

How we apply it

We stock champagne, bronze, pewter, silver and antique gold bases and custom-blend pigments on request. Metallic plaster is sealed for durability and takes three to four days for a typical feature.
